I was asked to explain why I am in love with you but I thought it might be easier to explain what I love about you so that others can see what made me fall in love with you too
I love the face you make when you’re thinking and you kinda pucker your lips
I love that you hate driving without cruise control because I know you like to tap your feet and dance to your favorite songs while you drive
I love when you make me take the wheel bc you really really wanna dance
I love how you can’t have your feet uncovered by the blankets because you’re honestly scared a monster will get your toes
I love when you wake up in the morning and decide everyone else should be awake too just because you are
I love how much you love art, it’s never really made much sense to me but I know if I could I’d paint you and hang it next to all your favorite pieces and you’d put them all to shame
I love that your smile always starts slowly from the corners of your lips and then erupts into the biggest and most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen
I love that your laugh still sends shivers down my spine
I love that when you kiss me I feel like everything will be okay and that even though I might not know what tomorrow will bring me, as long as I have you I’m the happiest person in the world
I love how you always know how to cheer me up and that I can almost never turn down ice cream
I love how you take care of me
I love how you always look me in my eyes when you tell me you love me because I know you’re checking to make sure I believe you
I love how you always support me in whatever I do
I love the fact that I’ve never really been able to see a future for myself but when you say things like “we’re gunna live in that house!” or “I can’t wait to cook breakfast for you.. in my underwear” and will you still go on walks with me when we’re older?“ .. “you can walk all our dogs I’ll just hold your hand” I’ve never seen anything as clearly as that.
the list of things I love about you could (obviously) go on and on.. but if you ask me why I am in love with you, I will tell you that being in love with you is inevitable, and I will be until I die
